No. Tether is a coaching and development tool. It is not therapy, counseling, medical care, or a crisis service. If an employee's situation requires clinical support, Tether will redirect them to appropriate resources.

Privacy and data

Your employer sees anonymized, aggregate data only — no individual conversation transcripts, no session-level attribution, no way to identify which employee said what. Your coaching conversations are private.
No one, by default. Conversation content is not shared with your employer, manager, or HR team. Tether's safety protocols may log certain crisis-related events (see the Crisis Escalation Protocol), but individual conversations remain private.
